Directors Label [Mar. 7th, 2004|12:30 pm]
[Current Music |Underworld - Rez]

Last weekends trip down to FOPP was not a complete washout. They had the full set of the Directors Label DVD's, which has been on my radar for a while. So I picked up copies of the Chris Cunningham and Spike Jonze DVD's.

Both are a really great but I'm a little disappointed with the Chris Cunningham DVD. I watched the Spike Jonze one first and that fill both sides of the DVD, where as the Chris Cunningham one is much shorter with only six videos plus some (very good) video installations and a couple of adverts. Don't get me wrong it's still very cool (it has the 'Come to Daddy and 'Windowlicker' videos) and I'm glad I got it, it just seems to be missing something.

The last release in series (so far) 'The Work Of Director Michel Gondry' has definitely moved up my list because of the first two.
