Ask, which did a really nice tomato and basil soup, I managed to shock everyone else by not ordering Pizza.Cardiff reminds me alot of Nottingham. Lots of regeneration going on or just finished, big paved squares with bars and cafes around the edges. A real buzz about the place. It was dark (and cold) so I didn't see that much but having been, I can believe that I've lived in Bristol for four and half years and never made the trip before now. We ended up eating at |
Then we had a quick two minute walk (did I say it was cold?) walk to the ice stadium for the Ice hockey, we saw our first fight within about minute, I guess because it was the second leg, some people had scores to settle. Later on with saw blood. Besides the fights I really did enjoy the match even if the Cardiff Devils did lose the match. The game is so fast, it can be hard to track where the puck is (I'm told the Canadian and US game is even faster), we had also been warned that the puck can and doe fly into the crowd, it came close a few times.
On the walk back to the train station said how they would go again. I could see myself really getting into this sport.
